FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sport and recreation, specifically to design of novel liquid lubricants meant for the sliding surface of skis in order to improve speed characteristics of the skier, and a method of making said lubricants. The liquid lubricants contain a suspension of powders-accelerators in form of perfluoroalkanes selected from a group comprising C₁₂F₂₆÷C₂₀F₄₂ or their mixture, in fluorine-containing solvents, chosen from a group which comprises perfluorodecalin, perfluoromethyldecalin, perfluoromethylcyclohexane, perfluro-1,3-dimethylcyclohexane or their mixture, in any ratio and combinations, and they also contain powders-accelerators in form of perfluoroalkanes chosen from a group comprising C₂₂F₄₆÷C₃₂F₆₆ or their mixture, in amount of 5÷60% of the mass of perfluoroalkanes contained. The method of making such lubricants involves grinding perfluoroalkanes to particle size of 1-2 mcm and suspending them using a mechanical disperser rotating at 10000-15000 rpm in the said fluorine-containing solvents.

EFFECT: increased wear resistance of liquid lubricants.
