FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the sphere of agriculture and forestry, immediately dealing with design of manually operated seeders, and is to be utilised for spot planting of fine-grained free-flowing seeds (such as those of the pine, the fir tree etc). The stick seeder contains a tubular housing with a compartment for seeds and a seeding device and a chamber for seed dose pre-discharge. The seeder device has a spring-loaded rod with a handle and a dosing element and a housing of its own with a seed inlet chamber positioned immediately over the seed dose pre-discharge chamber. The seeding device housing additionally has a base with pointed edges and a central hole for passage of the rod that has a funnelled section at the top and a seedbed forming ripper - at the bottom. The upper end of the seeding device housing is shaped as a cone frustum with holes in the centre, for passage of the rod, and at the base, for seeds inlet. The upper washer of the seed dose pre-discharge chamber is shaped as a funnel fabricated of a resilient material. The rod is positioned so that to enable its rotation relative the housing; the dosing element mounted thereon is represented by downwards inclined round cells within the seed inlet chamber one.

EFFECT: proposed seeder is noted for simplified design combined with improved reliability and performance.
