FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: seeding stick has tubular member and precision seeding unit positioned within tubular member. Precision seeding unit is provided with ratchet mechanism. Teeth on inner cylindrical part of seeding disk are meshed with spring-loaded cam. Seeding disk is rotated through ratchet mechanism and sheave with belt. Sheave is mounted on seeding disk shaft. One end of belt is connected to pedal and other end to rotary knife. Rotation of seeding disk, sheave, cam and opening of movable knife are performed simultaneously. Seeding stick of such construction is used for seeding farm and forest crops on lands difficult-to-reach for farm and forest seeding machines.
