SUBSTANCE: transformable clothing article for expectant mothers consists of a front and a back. The front is composed of the upper and the lower parts, releasably attached to each other. The front lower part has vertical cuts along the edge whereof open-ended zippers are arranged whose counterparts are arranged on the side cuts of the wedge inserts. The front upper part is designed as double-layered. The front upper layer is designed to be floating while onto the lower edge of the lower layer "VELCRO" adhesive tape is applied whose counterpart is arranged along the upper edge of the front lower part from the back.

EFFECT: invention enables extension of the clothing article functionalities rendering it fit for wear during both the pre-natal and post-natal periods.
