SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of processing industry and is to be utilised iIn the technology of vegetable oils pressure production. The device for peeling sunflower seeds includes a feeder bin, a ring-shaped board and an electric motor with a shaft. Rigidly mounted on the horizontally positioned electric motor shaft is a hub capable of rotation together with the shaft; in the hub there are radial holes arranged wherein hollow tubes are fitted that form radial ducts wherein guides are installed at an angle to the seeds travel direction.
EFFECT: improvement of the seed peeling device performance and quality of the peeled grain produced.
