FIELD: fat-and-oil industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has housing, vertical shaft mounted in housing, disk mounted on vertical shaft for high-speed rotation and provided with blades, feeder, and deck positioned circumferentially of housing. Feeder has cones and mechanisms for regulating point of hitting of sunflower seeds against disk blades. Deck is made from shock-absorbing material. Auxiliary sieve-type housing mounted on spherical supports is equipped with device for separating seed shell from seed core. EFFECT: improved quality of seed shelling by reduced number of hits of seeds against working devices, and reduced fatting of shell. 2 dwg
