FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering and can be used in development of aircraft engines for atmosphere and space flights. Aircraft comprises housing (1) rigidly coupled with cylinder (9), piston (7) arranged inside said cylinder and jet engine (8) rigidly coupled with said piston. Aircraft incorporates multi-unit damper (3), while piston has ledges (6) with their number corresponding to that of damper units. Every ledge (6) displaces inside appropriate damper unit (3). Set of inputs of damper (3) hydraulically communicates with output of damper control unit (2). With aircraft in active flight, engine (8) operates while piston (7) and housing (1) push aside and come close in turn. With ledges (6) entering the units of dampers (3), control unit (2) feeds and, simultaneously, ignites fuel in all dampers units. Piston (7), driven by generated gases, moves along cylinder (9) unless engine thrust forces it back. Safety retainers (10, 11) serve to prevent possible piston run out of the cylinder. Exhaust pipes (4, 5) serve to force waste gases out. Gas pressure generated in fuel combustion causes lower strains in the walls of some damper units (3), that feature smaller diametre, as compared with pressure developed in larger diametre unit.
EFFECT: higher reliability and safety.
