FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for measuring the coefficient converting the current flowing via elements of external space vehicle surface to voltage of pickup in fragments of airborne cable network, which are routed along those elements. In method of determining coefficient converting the current flowing via elements of external space vehicle surface to voltage of electromagnetic pickup in fragments of airborne cable network (ACN), the tested cable is arranged on the device imitating the element of external space vehicle surface, tested fragment of airborne cable network loaded on both sides to the resistances imitating actual operating load, pulse current is generated and its pulse parametres correspond to actual parametres of electrostatic charges on space vehicle surface, pulse current with peak value I is passed via the device imitating the element of external space vehicle surface, voltage of electromagnetic pickup U is measured in tested fragment of airborne cable network, and there determined is value of coefficient converting current Kconv flowing via the device imitating the element of external space vehicle surface, L long, to voltage of electromagnetic pickup in tested fragment of airborne cable network from the ratio. There also proposed is device for method implementation.
EFFECT: improving fidelity and accuracy of determining electromagnetic pickups in fragments of airborne cable network, which are routed along external space vehicle surface.
