FIELD: textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed knitwear, such as trunks, panties, knickers, leggings, trousers and mainly stockings, consists of body part (1) and parts for legs (2 and 3). Zone of crotch (K) is closed with the help of at least pair of opposite knit inserts (1A, 1B, 2A, 3A), which enter zone of crotch (K). The present invention also describes methods for knitting of this knitwear with application of flat knitting machine with double bed plate and double-cylinder knitting machine.
EFFECT: invention provides for production of seamless underwear of anatomic shape, high extent of manufacturing automation and its efficiency.
