SUBSTANCE: washing machine comprises steam generator, which selectively supplies steam to drum. Washing machine is equipped with element of steam control, which is arranged with the possibility of control signal sending for at least one steam factor, and control device for control over adjustment of at least one steam factor on the basis of signal from element of steam control. Method for control of washing machine is based on supply of signal for adjustment of at least one steam parametre, which is supplied into tank or drum, and on control of adjustment of at least one steam parametre on the basis of such signal.
EFFECT: development of washing machine with improved efficiency of washing.
