FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed compressor comprises constant-section circular channel with gas inlet/outlet openings made in its wall. Said channel accommodates two pairs of pistons, each arranged between pistons of another pair. Each pair of pistons is coupled with drive shaft via Hook's joint that converts uniform rotation of drive shaft into cyclically irregular rotation of pistons mutually shifted for cycle half phase. Said pistons divert and convert at the same sectors of aforesaid circular channel to suck in and force out gas via casing wall openings.
EFFECT: simplified design, reduced metal input, statically and dynamically balanced compressor.
