FIELD: physics; computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to human-machine interfaces for electronic devices, and more specifically to data input interfaces, particularly to touch-input devices. The input interface for an electronic device comprises a touch-sensitive layer (102) for detecting input and an input detector (201), connected to the said layer detecting changes in capacitance generated in the detection layer by touching. The detection layer is transparent. The polymer layer (103) of a polymer light-emitting diode (PLED) is placed under the detection layer and is designed for emitting light through the detection layer. A polymer layer is placed between a pair of conducting electrode layers (102, 104) of the polymer light-emitting diode, with the detection layer forming one of the said pairs of electrode layers.
EFFECT: simple design and reduced weight.
