FIELD: physics; computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to digital computer engineering and is meant for simulating combinatorial problems when designing computer systems. The result is achieved by using apparatus for calculating minimum value of distribution intensity in tree-structured systems on the criterion for minimising intensity of interaction of processes and data. The known device, which comprises a matrix consisting of m rows and n columns of elements of a homogeneous medium, n blocks for counting units, a unit for finding maximum, a first adder and a memory unit, also includes a minimum value unit comprising a pulse generator, an incident arc decoder, a delay element, an element selection multiplexer, a row counter, a column counter, a group of m counters of the detected arcs, a second adder, a group of m RS flip-flops, a group comprising first to m-th inhibit circuits, a group comprising first to m-th OR components, first and second counters of the last recorded modulus, first OR circuit, row decoder, second and third OR components and a univibrator.
EFFECT: wider field of use of the device.
