FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to low-rpm high-torque motors and electrical drives, as well as HF generators. Proposed electrical machine comprises sheet armature with salient poles and m-phase winding consisting of coils embracing one pole of the armature, and inductor with salient poles that have unlike-pole p-period coil excitation winding. Direct current flowing in the latter brings about alternating polarity of inductor poles, inductor being made up of "elementary machine" modules. Provided that proposed machine follows the ratios between the number of armature poles, the number of inductor pole pairs, the number of armature winding phases and number of modules, it is possible to ensure higher specific torque at lower rpm in motor mode, or higher specific power at high rpm in generator mode.
EFFECT: smooth adjustment of electrical machine output parametres.
