FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns ophthalmology and can be applied in polyclinic conditions to remove solid elongated foreign bodies skewed in eye cornea. A foreign body is extracted with using an instrument for removing foreign bodies from the surface of eye cornea. With a point of the working section of said instrument, the wound tract is opened from an entrance perforation to the foreign body. Then through cornea puncture within the end of said foreign body opposite to the wound entrance, the point of the working section is brought closer to an end face of the foreign body which is freely pushed out in the opened wound tracts from eye cornea.
EFFECT: method allows to lowering probability of operational and postoperative complications in simultaneous reduction of injurious exposure on eye tissues.
