FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to jaw crushers and may be used to grind materials. Jaw crusher includes body, fixed and movable jaws, eccentric crankshaft, which transfers motion to movable jaw, spacer plate, which is hingedly connected to movable jaw and body. At the same time eccentricity of crankshaft, length of movable jaw, spacer plate and stand are interrelated by ratio where a is stand length; l is movable jaw; b is length of spacer plate and r is eccentricity of crankshaft.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce energy inputs in process of jaw crusher operation.
