FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used to produce multilayer metal sheets with flaky submicro- or nanosize structure on the basis of a single metal. Billets used are alternating sheets of alloys on the basis of a single metal, having various structure of crystal lattices in the range of hot forming temperatures. Every cycle of processing includes making billets out of sheets, processing of their surface, assembly of cut sheets into packet, vacuumising and heating of packet, plastic deformation of packet along height. In initial condition alloys used under normal conditions may have identical crystal lattice, one of them has stable crystal lattice in the whole range of hot forming, and the second one goes through polymorphous transformations with development of another crystal lattice. Used alloys may have identical crystal lattice in initial condition under normal circumstances, besides both alloys go through polymorphous transformations, but at different temperatures. Hot forming is carried out at the temperature within values of polymorphous transformations temperatures of both alloys.
EFFECT: production of multilayer sheets, which have alternating non-mixed layers with stable interlayer borders, which differ from each other by phase composition or structure.
