SUBSTANCE: switching apparatus for the electrical circuit of a measuring device has a connecting part which can be connected to a sealed electrical connector of a process parametre sensor, a controller, a power module, a communication module and a circuit board. The communication module is connected to the electrical circuit of the measuring device and can exchange data with it. The controller provides two-way exchange with the electrical circuit of the measuring device through the communication module. The power module is connected to the electrical circuit of the measuring device and can power the communication module and the controller. The circuit board has an active circuit which uses energy.
EFFECT: protection from contaminants, increased reliability and stability of operation, wider functional capabilities.
