FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: specified result is achieved by considerable reduction of computing complexity for detection of azimuthal and elevation bearings of radiation sources (RS), and also reduction of required number of antenna system (AS) elements. Method is characterised by separation of nonlinear AS into two logical parts so that lines of azimuthal bearings count in each part are not parallel to each other, selection of reference element in each of separated AS parts, recovery of vector of complex signal amplitudes, obtained from output of each AS element, with its further separation that corresponds to logical separation of AS, calculation of azimuthal and elevation bearings for each RS in systems of coordinates connected to the first and second logical parts of AS, for detection of azimuthal θk and elevation βk bearings of RS by application of procedure for searching of maximums of one-dimensional angular spectrum module square in combination with according computing expressions.
EFFECT: increased speed of bearings detection.
