FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: inventions are intended for air heating and can be used in heat engineering. Convector contains heating elements unit installed in air cavity of convector casing. Under convector there is air-intake opening. Heating elements comprise at least one row and one tier; each heating element includes at least two pipe runs with finning plates fixed on them. Convector is equipped with V-shaped cowl located in air cavity of casing above heating elements unit. Walls of cowl divide air cavity of casing in its upper part into central air cavity, front and rear air cavities; two latter are interconnected with heated room space through air outlet holes. Central air cavity of casing is interconnected with heated room space through ventilation holes made in side walls of casing. Heating elements of each tier in side view are located with offset relative to each other to different sides and from casing symmetry axis. Heating elements unit includes racks with holes, which are located on its lateral sides. Pitch between finning plates of heating elements of upper tier is more than tier between finning plates of heating elements of lower tier. Each heating element includes rounded pipe section by means of which runs of heating element are connected to each other on one of their sides, and on the other side of heating element, pipe runs are connected to adjacent runs of the other heating element with other rounded pipe sections and straight-line pipe sections. On one lateral side of heating elements unit, rounded pipe sections are located horizontally, and on the other lateral side of the unit, rounded pipe sections are located horizontally and vertically, and on this lateral side of unit, they are located horizontally and vertically, and straight-line pipe sections are located on this lateral side of unit along vertical curved line. In casing, on side walls, there is a lot of horizontal ventilation holes located as to height, which are interconnected with each other through central air cavity of casing.
EFFECT: invention provides increase in convector efficiency and its design power.
