SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used for receiving signals in the shortwave (SW) and ultra-shortwave (USW) range with discrete operational frequency readjustment. The radio reception device has SW and USW antennae, a bandpass filter, a unit of switched SW and USW filters, an analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) of the frequency band, a digital filter unit, an output device, a high-frequency amplifier (HFA) unit, first and second mixers, a reference generator unit, a heterodyne frequency synthesiser, first and second heterodynes, a unit of switched filters of the first intermediate frequency (IF1), IF1 amplifier, a unit of switched filters of the second intermediate frequency (IF2), IF2 amplifier, an operational frequency adjustment control unit and a remote control unit (RCU). The invention provides operation of the radio reception device in a wide frequency range, considerable cutting on time for setting-up operational frequency of the device with increment of 1 Hz on any operational frequency.

EFFECT: possibility of receiving signals in the SW and USW range and cutting on time for adjusting operational frequencies.
