FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: method of receiving narrowband service signals, transmitted at a fixed frequency in the VLW and LW ranges, is characterised by that double frequency conversion of the carrier frequency is performed; the first frequency conversion is performed with upward shift of the carrier frequency and the second frequency conversion is performed with downward shift of the carrier frequency; suppression of two signals of adjacent channels closest on frequency is performed at a first intermediate frequency using distinctive features of the amplitude-frequency characteristic of a discrete band-pass piezoelectric ceramics filter; suppression of signals of adjacent channels is efficiently performed at a second intermediate frequency using a low gain slope active filter, and automatic gain control (AGC) of the whole radio receiver channel is performed by controlling amplitude of signals of both heterodynes.

EFFECT: improved manufacturability of the receiver by avoiding use of winding components.
