FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed wheel consists of rim to support tire and set of spikes or wheel disk jointing the rim to wheel hub. Said rim is made from plastic material, while set of spikes or wheel disk is made of metal. Note here that rim is jointed to set of spikes or wheel disk with geometrical or structural closure. To ensure accurate relative arrangement of wheel disk and rim bottom, set of spikes or wheel disk is jointed to rim by at least one jointing element passed through rim bottom. Said jointing element is arranged in set of spikes or wheel disk so that said element is completely covered by tire on one side and, on the other side, by wheel disk.
EFFECT: reduced weight at invariable strength.
