FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, particularly to devices intended for internal combustion engine supercharging. Proposed pressure exchanger comprises rotor with pressure-exchange cells, stator enveloping the rotor furnished with openings to feed and discharge compressing and compressed gas, and fan. A number of openings is arranged on stator surface aligned with inlet sections of pressure-exchange cells. Note that pairs of openings arranged on both side of compressing gas feed opening intercommunicate via closed channels. Note also that said channels are oriented in symmetry about compressing gas feed opening.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
