FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fixing device for end caps of adjustable control cable, which can be used, for example in automobile industry. Fixing device (1), which passes motion and adjusting effort from transmitting element to flexible internal cable (2) of control, is formed by becket (4), inside which there are assembled internal end cap (5) with annular head (6) and screw-down actuator (8). Actuator (8) thank to rotation of becket (4) slides by radius inside the allowing parallel walls of horizontal openings of end cap (5) for blocking or disposal of shaft (3), which is connected to cable (2), providing fixation or disposal of cable (2) depending on direction of rotation of becket (4), which is manually driven by operator. Additionally safety lock, connected to becket (4), is self-activated in the end of operation for fixation of cable (2) for installation of pin of end cap (5) in elongate opening of safety lock.
EFFECT: more simple and fast assembling and adjusting of all system of mechanical control of transmission, essentially at arduous access conditions to connected by cable elements; providing of more safety of operation of control system and considerable reduction of setup time.
