FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device for treating cervical spine pathology contains two coaxially and oppositely located plug-and socket support bushings, connected by means of wire elements, made from super-elastic titanium nickelide, located symmetrically and immovably fixed with end parts to adjacent sections of support bushings between points of projection on them of occipital tuber and low jaw angle. Bushings are made from layer-by-layer connected high-pressure polyethylene and foam rubber. On polyethylene layer located are hollows-pockets, corresponding to place of fixation on bushings of active elements. Active elements are made W-shaped and contain apex first and second legs of equal length. Apex and ends of legs are made in form of, not less than one turn of spring. Ends of leg turns are provided with immovably fixed to them support plates of rectangular form. Active elements are oriented with their apexes frontward. Whole device is placed into protective case of proportionate to device size and containing fasting elements.
EFFECT: improvement of operation characteristics of device, allowing to simplify control over value of corrective efforts and increase convenience in application in treatment process.
