FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: system contains fuel level sensors (3) installed in fuel tank as well as the first fuel volume measurement unit (5), fuel mass calculating unit (4) and instrument for determination of spatial position of fuel free surface (9), the second fuel volume measurement unit (6), fuel density measurement unit (8) and fuel density comparator (7). Additionally, the system includes multisensor (2) of fuel characteristic parametres installed in fuel tank which multisensor contains temperature sensor (14), dielectric permeability sensor (15) and sensor of ultrasound speed (16) in fuel. Fuel level sensor represents electric-capacity level sensor structurally combined with ultrasonic level sensor. Electric-capacity level sensor is made as coaxial cylindrical condenser with external and internal electrodes, and ultrasonic level sensor is made as tubular acoustic waveguide. In the lower part of this waveguide, piezoelectric transducer is installed and inside waveguide, float acoustic reflector capable to move free in longitudinal direction is located. Internal electrode of electric-capacity level sensor is used in the system as mentioned tubular acoustic waveguide.
EFFECT: decrease in fuel mass measurement error.
