FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: system contains fuel level sensors (3) installed in fuel tank and magnetically operated float fuel level switches (4) as well as the first and the second fuel volume measurement units (6 and 7), fuel mass calculating unit (5) and instrument for determination of fuel surface spatial position (11), fuel density measurement unit (10), fuel density comparator (8) and signal generating unit (9). Additionally, the system includes multisensor (2) of fuel characteristic parametres installed in fuel tank which multisensor contains dielectric permeability sensor (17) and sensor of ultrasound speed (18) in fuel. Fuel level sensor represents electric-capacity level sensor structurally combined with ultrasonic level sensor. Electric-capacity level sensor is made as coaxial cylindrical condenser with external and internal electrodes, and ultrasonic level sensor is made as tubular acoustic waveguide. In the lower part of this waveguide, piezoelectric transducer is installed and inside waveguide, float acoustic reflector capable to move free in longitudinal direction is located. Float acoustic reflector with constant magnets installed in it is used as float of magnetically operated float fuel level switch.
EFFECT: decrease in fuel mass measurement error.
