FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rubber production, and specifically to a method of producing polybutadiene and copolymers of butadiene with styrene. The invention also relates to a method of producing a modifying catalyst additive - lapramolate of an alkali metal. The modifying additive - lapramolate is obtained by reacting lapramol with sodium (potassium) metal, or reacting lapramol with sodium (potassium) hydroxide. Polybutadiene and copolymers of butadiene with styrene are obtained through continuous polymerisation in a medium of hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of a catalyst. The catalyst is an organolithium compound in a complex with the above mentioned modifying additive.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of organolithium initiator, obtaining homo- and copolymers with different content of 1,2-links, with different molecular mass and polydispersity, and the method also enables reduction of content of high-molecular fractions in the polymer.
