FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to geodesic instrument making, in particular, to methods and devices for geodesic measurements. Substance of invention consists in the fact that detection of averaged values of air refraction index, angles of side and vertical refraction is carried out on the basis of measurement of fluctuation of horizontal and vertical components of arrival angle fluctuation in focal plane of receiving lens due to pulsations of atmosphere refraction index. Simultaneously, length of track is measured, as well as values of meteorological elements in one or several points on track. Then taking into account length of track and measured values of meteorological elements, values of refraction index and angles of side and vertical refraction are calculated as averaged for the whole track. Device for detection of averaged values of air refraction index, angles of side and vertical refraction comprises laser for homing at target, receiving lens, downstream which there is a beam splitter installed, and photodetector is installed in focal plane, which is arranged in the form of quadrant detector (CCD matrix) and connected via coupling unit to processor.
