SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of training how to pronounce letters from the English alphabet and spelling words in English language. The method involves using an image carrier of English alphabet letters, pronunciation of a letter by the student, monitoring pronunciation and moving on to the next letter. On each letter image carrier, flat or volumetric, there is a magnetic or light code corresponding to the said letter. Apparatus for reading the code is provided, as sell as apparatus for rapid storage of the code of the selected letter, apparatus for permanent storage of pronunciations by the speaker, apparatus for rapid storage of pronunciation results of the selected letter by the student, rapid storage apparatus for evaluating pronunciation after comparing pronunciation by the student of the selected letter and the correct pronunciation by the speaker, apparatus which has touch screen, apparatus which has an English language dictionary, apparatus for comparing spelt words and words in the dictionary and displaying the comparison results.
EFFECT: more efficient teaching.
