FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to chemical biologically active substances. As substance, which reduces negative effect of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid herbicide at sunflower plants, it is proposed to apply 2-(4-brombenzyl sulfanil)-4,6-dimethylnicotinenitril of formula Objective of the present invention is expansion of a family of biologically active substances produced by synthetic method, for their application in agriculture as antidotes of 2,4-D. It is achieved by application of 2-(4-brombenzyl sulfanil)-4,6-dimethylnicotinenitril by means of treatment of affected sunflower plants in 5 days after application of herbicide.
EFFECT: expansion of biologically active substances family.
