FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of hydrocracking hydrocarbon material, involving bringing material at temperature 232-454°C and excess pressure 5171-24132 kPa in the presence of hydrogen into contact with a catalyst which contains a hydrogenating component, beta zeolite and Y zeolite, preferably LZ-210 zeolite with cell dimension of 24.37-24.44 Å, preferably 24.40-24.43 Å. The catalyst has mass ratio of Y zeolite to beta zeolite in dry state ranging from 4 to 7 and preferably from 4.5 to 6. The invention also relates to composition of a substance which contains the catalyst for use in hydrocracking.
EFFECT: catalyst has high activity, selectivity and stability, which has positive effect on output of hydrocracking products.
