FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used in steam generators exploiting liquid-metal heat carriers. Proposed steam generator comprises housing with heat exchange fluid inlet and outlet branch pipes, bundle of U-like heat exchange pipes with their ends fixed in manifolds, and perforated sheet to distribute steam generation from evaporation surface. Note here that "cold" manifold with fixed ends of tube bundles is located relative to "hot" manifold to allow uniform distribution of steam over evaporation surface via increasing heat exchange surface area of aforesaid "cold".
EFFECT: uniform distribution of stem load over evaporation surface.
