In process of haymaking initial moisture Woi of grass mass Mi is controlled, as well as time until completion of technological cycle Ti. Time Tni required for mown mass Mi drying until conditioned moisture Wk achievement is forecasted. If condition Tni≥Ti and/or Woi≤Wk is fulfilled, then grass mowing is terminated.
EFFECT: method provides for efficient haymaking with account of meteorological and agrotechnical factors of external action and individual features of mown grass.
