FIELD: air transport.

SUBSTANCE: air cooling device contains the first area of air intake, the first line and the second line. The first area of air intake is purposed for intake of the first flow of cooling air from the first air conditioning unit; it is located in incoming air channel of the first air conditioning unit. The first line is purposed for delivery of cooling air flow to air cooling device. The second line is purposed for direction of delivered air after its cooling to inert gas generation system. The method of air cooling at aircraft includes intake of the first flow of cooling air from the first air conditioning unit in the first area of air intake located in incoming air channel of the first air conditioning unit; further cooling of delivered air by the first flow of cooling air and its delivery after cooling to inert gas generation system.

EFFECT: weight reduction of air cooling device.
