SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly to cast iron composition. Cast iron contains components in a following ratio, wt %: carbon 4.1-4.5; silicon 0.8-1.2; manganese 0.3-0.4; chrome 0.3-0.4; barium 0.0005-0.0007; cobalt 0.3-0.4; cerium 0.3-0.4; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: invention utilisation enables enhanced thermal resistance of cast iron.
