FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering and can be used to transform wind energy into some other kinds of power. Proposed rotor comprises vertical shaft with radial crosspieces and extra shafts, each being fitted on said crosspieces. Extensions of extra shafts accommodate blades. Note here that the angle between surfaces of opposite blades varies from 0 to 180°.
EFFECT: higher efficiency thanks to variable area of blades.
