FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport machine building, in particularly, to air-operated braking systems. Modulator comprises housing accommodating slide valve with heads and axial bore, said slide valve being pressed to control screw to initial position. Slide valve outer side surface accommodates toothed rack in mesh with step motor shaft gear. Modulator housing has holes, one communicated with braking chamber, second communicated with braking valve, third communicated with compressed air receiver and fourth being communicated with atmosphere and stopped by slide valve. Radial hole is arranged between second and third heads of slide vale to communicate slide valve bore with chamber between body and slide valve.
EFFECT: efficient operation in whatever operation mode.
