ROTOR Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC B64C27/32

Abstract RU 2385268 C1

FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to helicopter designs. Rotor blades are arranged on common shaft, one above the other, at three equally spaced levels and at 120° to each other. Blades revolve in one direction to allow optimum use of ram airflow in various flight conditions. Note here that upper blade arranged at the angle of attack throws ram airflow off towards lower blade to form unidirectional drawing-in vortex flow under blades. Said flow has torque and develops drawing force along flight direction.

EFFECT: higher load-to-weight ratio.
