FIELD: aviation; designs of helicopters.
SUBSTANCE: device for compensating the reactive moment of the main rotor of the helicopter contains two propellers with several blades in the area of the keel on the tail boom of the helicopter, a deflectable aerodynamic surface on the keel. A screw with an axis of rotation perpendicular to the axis of the tail boom of the helicopter and located horizontally is the main one for compensating the reactive moment of the main rotor of the helicopter. The second screw is auxiliary, while the disks of the blades of the main and auxiliary screws intersect and form a combined zone of the disk space of the screws. The propellers have a synchronized drive, are equipped with an automatic control system for the angle of rotation of the propeller blades, individual for each propeller, to create at the same time on one propeller disk a thrust vector directed in opposite directions when setting different angles of the blades in parts of the propeller disk. In the combined zone of disk space, a combined thrust vector of propellers of one direction is created.
EFFECT: reduction of energy costs for the drive of the compensation device, increase in efficiency, reduction of noise level, reduction of vibrations and increase in the resource of the device for compensating the reactive moment of the main rotor of the helicopter.
