FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-molecular compounds, particularly to production of materials with low fire risk used in different industries. The composition contains polyvinyl chloride emulsion, dioctylphthalate plasticiser, stabiliser - stearate of cadmium and barium and polymer organophosphorus antipyrene, which is obtained by reacting 4-vinylbenzylchloride with bis-(2phenylethyl)phosphine taken in ratio of 1:1 in a vacuum-sealed ampoule at 65-70°C in an argon atmosphere for 0.5 h with subsequent extraction of the polymer and successive washing with organic solvent. The organophosphorus polymer is obtained at high output (up to 86%). The polymer has melting point of 312°C with decomposition. The polymer does not dissolve in water and organic solvents since it has a cross-linked structure.

EFFECT: reduced combustibility, reduced smoke formation, reduced inflammability of the plasticised polyvinyl chloride with low content of organophosphorus antipyrene.
