FIELD: light industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to light industry and relates to a method for producing a fire-resistant material with a polyvinyl chloride coating. Proposed waterproof intumescent flame retardant composition for industrial fabrics from cellulose fibers, containing 10 mas.pts. of polyvinyl chloride emulsion, 7 mas.pts. dioctyl phthalate, 1 mas.pts. of tannin.
EFFECT: proposed composition makes it possible to impart fire resistance to a fabric for technical purposes due to the formation of a coke layer on its surface at the combustion temperature, which prevents the access of atmospheric oxygen to the combustion zone.
