FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: number of pulses from the clock output of a microprocessor are counted using an independent logical circuit. A signature signal is transmitted to a comparator circuit. A signature signal generated by the microprocessor is transmitted to the other input of the comparator circuit. One of the compared signature signals is transmitted to the comparator circuit with delay. The signal from the comparator circuit and the signal from the clock output of the microprocessor are transmitted to a device for comparing paraphase signals for generation of an output control signal. The protection device has a logical circuit with a signal pulse counter, a comparator circuit and a device for comparing paraphase signals. The device for comparing paraphase signals with protection from hazardous failure is a closed ring circuit on the inputs of which pharaphase rectangular pulses and a control signal are input.
EFFECT: increased reliability of protection of microprocessor systems of railway automatic equipment.
