FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of catalysts for deep hydrofining oil fractions. A method is described for preparing a catalyst for deep hydrofining oil fractions, involving impregnation of an alumina support with a solution of compounds of group VIII and VI metals. The method is distinguished by that a combined impregnating solution is prepared, containing a compound of molybdenum and cobalt nitrate or cobalt acetate in molar ratio Mo/Co equal to 1.70-2.30, stabilised by 25.8-35.0 ml of 30% H2O2 per 100 ml of impregnating solution, at pH of the medium equal to 1.5-5.0. Aluminium oxide is impregnated once, followed by final calcination of the finished catalyst at temperature not above 400°C in an oxidative or inert medium.
EFFECT: obtaining a catalyst which enables deep hydrofining oil fractions.
