FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of casting production. Moulding box and filling frame are installed onto moulding plate with model. Mix is filled, and chamber of air-pulse head is arranged on moulding box. Mix is compacted under action of air flow filtration forces through moulding mix and by press shoe, and further compaction is carried out simultaneously by compressed air and press shoe with the rate of 6-10 m/s. Installation for method realisation comprises receiver, press drive with working cylinder, base plate having a row of holes for free discharge of compressed air out of receiver into space over moulding box. Base plate is equipped with crane for supply of compressed air into auger cavity of working cylinder as piston lifts up after stroke.
EFFECT: invention provides for reduction of air flow rate, improved quality of compaction and evenness of moulding mix compaction in the whole volume of casting mould.
