FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves installation of casting box on mouding plate with mould, and filling of mixture. On the casting box there arranged is pulse head chamber with electrodes. Mixture is compacted in casting box by condenser discharge by short circuiting of electrodes with current-conducting liquid and by pressure of vapours of air medium, which are contained in pulse head chamber. Amount of current-conducting liquid is pre-dosed as per the following ratio: m = 0.65 · P · V · ϑ/848 · T,(kg), where P - pressure of vapour gases of evaporation of current-conducting liquid at the end of compaction, Pa; V - volume of compacted mould, m3; T - temperature of vapour gases of evaporation of current-conducting liquid, T=(2-3) Tboiling, K; υ - amount of conducting liquid, mol; Tboiling - boiling temperature of current-conducting liquid, K; 0.65 and 848 - correction factors.
EFFECT: increasing uniform mixture compaction.
