SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to facility for reducing incidental catch of sea birds and turtles at fishing, and also refers to fish hook, to barrier preventing swallowing or to barrier preventing hooking to reduce incidental catch of sea birds and turtles during fishing; invention also refers to procedure for decreasing incidental catch of sea birds and turtles at fishing. The facility for reduction of incidental catch of sea birds or turtles at fishing consists of the fish hook and of the barrier or screen arranged relative to the fish hook so, that the barrier reduces or prevents hooking a sea bird or a turtle with the fish hook, or prevents swallowing the hook by a sea bird or turtle. The facility consists of a decaying component, decomposed when put into water so, that the barrier falls off the position relative to the fish hook or disappears, thus allowing hooking fish with the fish hook. Retaining or setting facility can function as a decaying component. The decaying component can form part of the barrier or the whole barrier.

EFFECT: preservation of sea birds, in elimination of their accidental catch and also in efficient fishing.
