SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of marine propellers. Marine propeller comprises hub with vanes installed on it. Vanes are equipped with leads joined by means of fingers and inserts to control orifice. Inserts may rotate in cylindrical holes of orifice. At the same time fingers move in inserts, and their axes are always arranged parallel to axes of vanes. Control orifice is joined to worm gear. To change propeller pitch, worm screw is rotated.
EFFECT: eliminates possibility of screw pitch control mechanism, and also improved accuracy of vanes installation.
