FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: in compliance with this invention, gas pressure and temperature are additionally measured in afterburner chamber. Pulsed effects with increasing frequency are brought on air flow through the engine with the help of compressor guide vanes (CGV) and engine jet nozzle (JN) flaps. During increase in afterburning fuel combustion completeness determined from intermittent increase in gas pressure and temperature in afterburner chamber, pulsed effects on air flow rate is fixed and afterburning fuel flow rate is decreased till afterburner chamber gas temperature increases to starting temperature.
EFFECT: higher quality of ACS operation and efficiency of engine operation in afterburning conditions.
